Greater Manchester and Oswestry Sarcoma Service (GMOSS)
A partnership between three hospitals which offers comprehensive bone and soft tisssue sarcoma treatment for all tumours. All three sites offer a diagnostic service through the one multi-disciplinary team. The GMOSS MDT also takes referrals from North Wales.
The Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Hospital near Oswestry in Shropshire is a specialist orthopaedic hospital which is nationally funded for the treatment of bone tumours. It also treats limb/trunk soft tissue tumours. Manchester Royal Infirmary offers surgery for most types of soft tissue sarcoma. Some specialist surgery is undertaken at the Christie Hospital, Manchester, which also provides the oncology services for the MDT. Clinics are held at Princess Royal Hospital, Telford (Shropshire) and at the North Wales Cancer Treatement Centre, Glan Clwyd Hospital, Rhyl. The Christie is an active research centre for sarcoma.

Liverpool Sarcoma Service
Diagnostic and surgical surgery for limb/trunk tumours is undertaken at Royal Liverpool University Hospital. Oncology services are provide at Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology on the Wirral.
