Public Open Session

Terms and Conditions of attendance

The British Sarcoma Group is holding an open public session at its 2012 Conference. The session will start at 4.30pm on Thursday 1st March and is scheduled to finish at 6.45pm. There is no charge for attendance.

The programme for the session is:

Nursing and patient advocacy - a report and discussion of research undertaken by sarcoma specialist nurses and patients on patient needs - led by Ms Helen Stradling (Sarcoma Specialist Nurse - Oxford)

Guest lecture from Mr Peter Kapitein. Mr Kapitein is a cancer patient from the Netherlands who has an unusual ability to be open about the challenges of being a patient. He is the man behind Inspire2Live.

Discussion chaired by Mr Rob Grimer (Surgeon) with a panel of patients and specialists looking at the key issues faced by sarcoma patients in the UK today.

If you wish to attend please read the terms and conditions opposite before completing the form below. One form may be used to register a group.

1. Only delegates pre-registered through this website can be admitted.

2. Registration will close at 1200 noon on Wednesday 29th February.

3. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Unaccompanied under-18 year olds cannot be admitted.

4. Admission to the Session is through the main reception of the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The Session is being held in the hotel's Auditorium.

5. Access to the hotel Conference suite is reserved for paid delegates to the BSG Conference.

6. The British Sarcoma Group reserves the right to refuse admittance, and to request the departure of any admitted person who causes disruption of the session.

7. The instructions of Crowne Plaza hotel staff and BSG Conference management are to be observed at all times.

8. Liability for loss or damage to property brought onto the premises by delegates rests with those delegates.

9. If through unexpected circumstances the Session is cancelled the BSG accepts no liability for any loss or expense incurred by delegates.

10. If cancellation is necessary the BSG will make every effort to inform delegates as soon as possible.
