We are pleased to announce the first joint BSG and Irish Sarcoma Group conference in Birmingham on Tuesday 27th & Wednesday 28th February 2018 at The Repertory Theatre, Birmingham. The venue is in an excellent location on Broad Street close to transport links, hotels, bars and restaurants. The National Sarcoma Forum will take place on Tuesday, 27th February along with the BSG evening dinner the same evening.
The programme will include the presentation of the results of trials in radiation, medical and surgical Oncology. We also hope to focus on the provision of sarcoma services for children and on quality of life in patients with sarcoma. The participation of the Irish Sarcoma Group will allow for comparisons between the two healthcare systems fostering closer collaboration and discussion regarding the organisation of services in the UK and Ireland. The meeting will be a mixture of interactive discussions chaired by experts, submitted free papers and lectures in addition to poster presentations and break-out meetings on specific topics.
